Between Saturday October 13th and Sunday October 14th, Patch and Crow's Nest was broken into and burglarized. Until the front glass is repaired, the storefront looks boarded up. Our hours are posted, and you can expect us to be open during those hours. Try the door and come in.

Patch and Crow's Nest (or just Crow's Nest to our friends) is the largest supplier of comic books in the Manhattan, Kansas area. Weekly shipments of comics include titles from DC, Marvel, Image, Darkhorse, and every other publisher we can find. Comic books typically arrive on Wednesdays. For those customers that fear missing their favorite titles, we'll hold your comics for you. Come in to the store for full details.

But we're not just comics! Patch and Crow's Nest also supports the widest range of games in the area. Warhammer? You bet! Warhammer 40K? Games every Friday. Confrontation? Sure. Magic the Gathering? Lowest prices in town. Yu-Gi-Oh? Cheaper than you can get it at Wal-mart. Heroclix, Mech Warrior, Legend of the Five Rings, Dungeons and Dragons, Rifts, GURPS, Warlord, Shadowfist, Micro Armor, Classic Battletech, Settlers of Catan, Munchkin? All of those and more. If there's something you want and we don't have it, we'll do our darndest to get it in for you. But we don't only sell games. We play them. The store has five 4'x8' stand up tables, two 4'x8' seated tables, two 4'x8' historicals tables and four 4'x4' seated tables. That's 352 square feet of table space. Feel free to call in and reserve a table, or just show up and see what's being played.

Pirates?

When we founded Patch and Crow's Nest in August of 2002, we wanted to pay homage to our favorite (and recently cancelled) card game, 7th Sea. There are little hints of pirates all over our store. Little did we know that pirates would become such a hot theme thanks to Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean movies. Even though the collection includes a figures from the movies, the movies did not inspire our theme. Just so you know.
